Dr. Kasuga obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo in 2005 and continued working there from 2006. He also worked at VNU-VietnamJapan University in Hanoi, Vietnam, from September 2018 to March 2021 in the international collaboration project. His research interests include antibiotic resistance in the water environment, biological water treatment, and drinking water microbiome.
